01. Become an Airline-Ready® Student

Earn a dual license (EASA & FAA CPL (ME/IR) with Frozen ATPL), giving you all the licenses required to launch your commercial pilot career. At OSM, quality and professionalism are at the core of our training philosophy, ensuring you develop the skills, discipline, and mindset airlines seek.

The program features one year of training in the USA and one year in Norway, delivering a unique dual-continent experience. You’ll fly in varied climates, operate within different airspace systems, and build valuable real-world aviation experience that prepares you for an international airline career.

02. Direct Pathway to the Airline Assessment

As an OSM alumnus, you gain access to an exclusive Norse recruitment link whenever the airline is hiring pilots. This provides a unique opportunity to apply to Norse using only your OSM flight hours, with no additional flight experience required. Norse selects the candidates they wish to invite for assessment, and OSM alumni are eligible for interview consideration.

One of the final courses in the OSM program is the APS/MCC, which emphasizes on Multi Crew Cooperation, effective communication, and airline-style operations, core competencies assessed during the Norse selection process. After completing the interview and assessment, successful candidates are offered positions at Norse as Second Officers.

03. Become a First Officer on the Boeing 787

Once accepted by Norse, candidates proceed to a Boeing 787 Type Rating, a specialized training program focused on operating this specific aircraft. The course is delivered in accordance with Norse standards, with the full cost covered by the airline. After successfully completing the Type Rating, you officially join Norse as a Second Officer on the Boeing 787, flying passengers to a range of international destinations and launching your professional airline career.
