About us.

OSM Aviation Academy is the school for those of you who dream of becoming a pilot, and who want a career in the air. Together, we will get you through 20-24 intensive months of theory and flying programs so that you are best suited for your future career as a pilot.

With us, you will meet a combination of Scandinavian and foreign students and instructors, in an international environment – similar to what you will experience as an educated pilot.

As the language of the skies is English, all instruction will be done in English, both in theory instruction and in the aircraft program.

Our instructors are trained pilots, which means that you will be closely followed up through the program by people who know what it is like to go through a pilot education.

We have set a high standard in the industry, and we cooperate closely with airlines such as Norse Atlantic Airways and Norwegian Air Shuttle. The majority of our graduated students have ended up in a relevant job no later than a year after finishing their studies.

We are located in the center of Arendal, Norway / Västerås, Sweden / Fort Lauderdale, USA. The school premises are equipped with classrooms, group rooms and different zones where you will be able to take a break from your studies.

Arendal, Norway

Arendal is Norway’s 14th largest city in terms of population size. The flight operations are operated out of Arendal Airport, Gullknapp. It is an airport which is adapted to OSM’s needs to train highly qualified pilots. Gullknapp is located approximately 20 minutes from the center of Arendal, and we have our own transport system that takes the students to and from the airport.

Västerås, Sweden

Västerås is Sweden’s fifth-largest city in terms of population size and is a great place to study. Shopping, restaurants, and even a cable park for wakeboarding are some of the things you can expect to find in this charming city.

Fort Lauderdale, USA

Our training location in the USA is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Fort Lauderdale is a coastal city on the Atlantic Ocean often known for its beaches and boating canals. Besides its miles of blue waterways and sandy beaches, the city also offers a diverse variety of entertainment and cultural interest you can enjoy while taking a break from the studies.
