Airline Ready™ Pilot Program

The OSM Airline Ready™ Pilot Program is a 20-24 month competency-based training designed for aspiring airline pilots. It covers theory and flight training, ensuring students meet all requirements. With mentorship from OSM Aviation Academy and airline partners, graduates undergo a review board before advancing to fly the Boeing 737 or 787 with partner airlines worldwide.

When you graduate from the academy you will have all the certificates required to be hired as an airline pilot. The license will be a CPL ME/IR with frozen ATP and our locations are Arendal, Norway & Västerås, Sweden

Pricing

The total cost of the OSM Airline Ready™ Pilot Program is €99,000, divided into four payments, one per semester. This structured payment plan makes it easier for students to manage their finances throughout the training. Additionally, with the euro being strong compared to the Norwegian krone, the program remains affordable for those looking to invest in a high-quality pilot education.

Pilot Demand

Boeing projects growing demand for pilots, estimating that over 674,000 new pilots will be needed globally by 2043 to support the expanding aviation industry. As airlines continue to grow and experienced pilots retire, this presents a significant opportunity for aspiring aviators to secure a long-term career in aviation. KLM, like many other airlines, is already facing a pilot shortage, highlighting the increasing need for well-trained professionals. Additionally, Lufthansa has announced plans to hire 10,000 new employees across the company in 2025, further emphasizing the industry’s demand for skilled aviation professionals.

Flight Training In Norway & Sweden

Training as a pilot in Norway or Sweden offers a unique and demanding experience that shapes your skills. The challenging terrain, with its vast mountains, deep fjords, and remote landscapes, requires precision and adaptability in navigation. Harsh winter conditions bring heavy snowfall, icy runways, and unpredictable winds, demanding strong decision-making and excellent aircraft handling skills. Frequent low visibility and rapid weather changes teach pilots to trust their instruments and react swiftly under pressure. Flying in these environments builds confidence and competence, preparing pilots for demanding operations worldwide.
