Flight Instructor Career Program

Our OSM Flight Instructor Career Program gives you the opportunity to evolve as a pilot and a flight instructor at OSM Aviation Academy. After successfully passing our assessment will you be given the opportunity to work and instruct at OSM Aviation Academy both as a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (TKI) and Flight Instructor (FI). Gaining experience and procedural knowledge gives you opportunities at an early stage in your FI career program with internal upgrades such as:

  • Internal IRI course
  • UPRT-I course
  • Internal CRI course
  • FII rating

During the second year of employment, we want you to focus on Instrument Rated Instructor training, or other administrative tasks which we can offer. We will consider expediting internal courses depending on the candidate’s previous background and performance. Our Flight Instructor Career Program extends 2-3 years from employment to holding certification to all training in our ATP courses.

Opportunities with Partner Airlines

Upon completion of your trial period, OSM will facilitate an assessment with our partner airlines, such as Norwegian, Widerøe, or Norse Atlantic, based on demand and the availability of the airline recruitment team. Prior to departure, you would have gained an excessive network, knowledge and experience to tackle the challenges ahead, with the instructor ratings you may use at a later stage.

Be a part of it.
