Life as a student pilot is both rewarding and demanding. In the span of 20-24 months, you will go through a very intense study program, which makes it important for you to be able to relax in between flying and theory. We make arrangements for our students to have enough study time outside the classroom, and also during the flight program.

Your student years are some of the best years of your life. You get the opportunity to learn something completely new, and many make friends for life. We recommend that you make the most of your study time, both at school and in your spare time, and we will help you the best we can with both.
Student accommodation in Arendal, Västerås & Fort Lauderdale, comes in addition to the course fee for the Airline Ready Pilot program. It is the student’s responsibility to arrange a place to live, but we will of course assist you. On receipt of the admission certificate, suggestions are given to you for landlords to contact.

Life as a student can occasionally present challenges, both academically and socially. We make sure that you are looked after and supported if something becomes problematic during your studies with us. Our own student coordinators help you solve most things related to your time studying in Norway, Sweden or USA.

Student society
Student cohesion during the study period is one of the most important prerequisites for a good and successful study period. That is why OSMAA has a separate student society which holds regular gatherings. This will include, amongst other things, cinema nights, quizzes, boat trips and more. We encourage all pilot students with us to join the student community.
Our training location in the USA is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Fort Lauderdale is a coastal city on the Atlantic Ocean often known for its beaches and boating canals. Besides its miles of blue waterways and sandy beaches, the city also offers a diverse variety of entertainment and cultural interest you can enjoy while taking a break from the studies.
